We very often find ourselves using a word called "mood"; asking each other, "what happened to your mood or why are you in bad mood". While good mood can make our day real productive, bad mood can spoil all our plans.
Mood is nothing but a sudden and intense shift in our #emotional state. It's a trigger driven state; something that instigates bad or good #mood ; That time our mood start controlling all our actions and any decisions taken by us are actually the outcome of that. For example while in bad mood, you might cancel an important meeting or a trip, unnecessarily put yourself in trouble after arguing with someone, even spoil an important #relationship .
Observe yourself carefully to find out how many hours of the day you spent in bad mood and what impact it has on your actions? Also find what's causing (trigger) that bad mood in you. If you consciously practice this observation and record it for next 7 days, this information will greatly help you find where and how you can develop stable resourceful emotional states and be better postive and productive. #emotionalintelligence is a matter of choice.
Could you ever observe and identify your #moodelevators ? We all have these; things that help us elevate our mood; for example you are in #badmood because of an early morning argument with one of your family member and while driving for office during peak time, you are feeling quite disturbed; when suddenly a favourite romantic song on radio make things mild for you.
This song that came to you as quick chill pill is psychologically nothing but an #anchor, that is capable of changing your state of mind due to its subconscious connection with your emotions. We have many such anchors already placed with us; these can be in the form of sound like songs, some appealing smell or even your favourite food items. It can even be a sensation or can be something that elevates your mood quickly and takes you into a better #mentalstate. These anchors can also be created!
But for now you can look back, observe and identify such mood elevators in your life. Keep them ready with you; they can make you feel relax and make you smile anytime you want...
Results are not an overnight thing and need consistent #efforts; and while we are effortfull of maintaining the rhythm of our actions to achieve our dream #outcome ; then many a times due to weak #willpower and #determination , we feel like leaving and #procrastinate . Normally we start efforts with lot of zeal, but soon find ourselves surrendering to obstacles and #moodfluctuations.
One old traditional yet very effective way to maintain willpower and stay strongly determined is "#fasting ". Once a week would be enough; you would see that you are able to keep your energy levels intact and keep yourself highly #motivated ; another obvious benefit is health. If you suffer from such issues, give it a try for at least couple of months. Find right way to do it...
